How to Upload a Roster to Your BUILD Tracker

In this video, we will show you how to upload a roster to your BUILD tracker. It's important to note that rosters must be uploaded to activity sessions. Make sure your column headings match properly. Your roster will process automatically if it is a tab delimited text- (.txt) file. To create this, open up your excel file and save as tab delimited text. If you are unable to do this, you can upload the excel file and the CEC will process the file for you. Your roster will be available at a later date.

Uploading a Roster: The Process, Step-by-Step

  1. Log into the system.
  2. Click on 'Activities Catalog' in the navigation menu.
  3. Find the activity you would like to upload a roster to.
  4. In the 'Sessions' tab, either create a new session, or find the activity session you would like to upload a roster to.
  5. On the activity session page, click on the 'Upload Roster' button.
  6. In the pop-up window, click on 'Choose File' and find your roster on your computer.
  7. Click 'Choose,' and click Submit in the pop-up window.
  8. You will get a notification that will report whether or not your roster has uploaded properly.

Tips for a Successful Roster Upload

  • Its important to note that rosters must be uploaded to activity sessions.
  • Make sure your column headings match properly. Please see the example below:

    the column headers should be: first_name, last_name, id_type id, email, role.
  • Your roster will process automatically if it is a tab delimited text- .txt file.
