How to Generate a QR Code for Your Activity Sessions

This tutorial will tell you how to generate a QR Code that attendees can use to register for DPC activity sessions. First, sign in to your BUILD Tracker. Click on the 'Activities Catalog' link. Find the activity you would like to get a QR Code for, and either create a new session, or click on a pre-existing session. On the activity session page, you will find a button to 'Generate QR Code.' Click on this button. Another page will open up, with a description of your activity session, and two buttons. First, click on the dark blue 'Generate QR Code' button. Once the QR Code appears, click on the light blue 'Print This Page' button. It will allow you to print a physical copy that you can take to your session.

  2. Click on 'Activities Catalog' in the navigation menu.
  3. Find the activity you would like to generate a QR Code for.
  4. In the 'Sessions' tab, either create a new session, or find the activity session and click on it.

  6. On the ensuing page, click on the blue 'Generate a QR Code' button.

Tips for Generating and Using your QR Code

  • Please remember to print your QR Code out, and bring it to your activity session.
  • If an attendee does not have the Scholar App, they can still use any QR Code reader. After reading the QR Code, they will be taken to an online form. Filling in their information on the form and submitting it will register them for the activity session.
